Sylvia had sat up for many nights listening to whispers. She did not hear them in the hallways, Instead she heard them in her head. She only heard these whispers late at night while the others slept.
It was on this night that she could stand it no longer. She grabbed her cloak and her cross and walked out into the hallways. She was careful to look around so she wasnt caught. As she walked lower into the castle the whispers began to highten into normal speaking.
It was only once she was in the dungeon that she heard them as if someone stood beside her. She looked around and could see noone, She continued to walk the dungeon listening as she walked. The air in the dungeon felt chilled and Sylvia clutched her cloak closer to her and walked faster.

It was late at night but Mayank was still working. Finally, locking the last file in a drawer he walked out of his office and walked in the cold dungeons. It was then that he heard footsteps. Mayank stopped, a slight frown appearing on his face. He had a strange feeling the footsteps did not belonged to any adult who was allowed to stay awake at this time. But then it might just be his imagination. It might not be a student. He would only know that after he had checked.
Walking a bit further, Mayank found the student. The frown on his face hardened. Why it had always to be a student of his house? "What are you doing out there?" he asked the first year in his usual cold voice.

Sylvia turned towards the voice and put her hand to her lips, A soft shushing could be heard before she spoke, "Do not speak, The voices will retreat." She turned back voices and continued to walk. The voices seemed to be speaking of something, She tried to listen harder.
*Are you sure this has worked this time? Are you sure the girl is alone.* A quick scuttle was heard in the distance and another voice spoke, *I believe it to be so sir, No one else can hear us, She is but the only Parseltounge like us.* Some more scuttle was heard and then they became quiet.
Sylvia turned to the man, Her tiny voice speaking, "What is it that you want, I am simply following something that no one else follows.*

Mayank frowned. He could tell the girl was not telling tales and she really could hear something. He would have known in a second if she had been telling lie. However, he frowned at the way she spoke. He did not tolerate this attitude from any student, even if they were Slytherin. "First of all, Miss Snape, I hope you are not forgetting you are talking with a teacher, so I don't want to hear such questions as 'what is it that you want' again," he said, his voice sounding calm but cold at the same time, "I hope you are aware you are breaking the rules by staying up and out of the dormitory at this time? Anyways, which are the voices you are hearing?" he asked.

Sylvia turned back to the man, "My apologies sir, It is just that these voices have driven me crazy for many nights now." She turned back, "The reason you cannot hear them is because it is spoken in another language." She refused to tell this teacher what language, She did not want anymore Drama tonight.

Mayank believed the girl again. He thought about the language which he would not listen if he did not understand? "Which language?" he asked quickly, a frown still on his face as he looked around before looking back at the girl. "Parseltoungue?" he asked, mostly guessing. It was a language he did not know and so won't be surprise if he didn't here that.

Sylvia turned away from the man and spoke softly, "If I do not fall harm, Then that is a yes sir." She put her finger to her lips and listened, The voices spoke once more *This cannot be happening, I swear she was alone a second ago.* ^Lies, Disceat, For that you shall die.^ Sylvia turned to the man, "They are going to kill someone, We must find them." She began to run through the halls listening for movements.

Mayank let the girl listen to the voices and nodded as she said they must find them. "Are you sure the voice came from this direction?" he asked, walking quickly with her, his hand ready on his wand.

Sylvia spoke over her shoulder, "They get louder as we proceed, They where but a whisper before I came down here." She moved closer to a watery cave and sank to the ground. A loud hissing was heard in her head, It rang in her ears as she gently cupped her ears. She spoke softly, "Do you not hear that screeching?" Her lips pursed tightly as she looked back at the teacher.

If the voices were getting louder as they walked, it meant that they were going in the right direction. He was about to ask since how long had she been hearing these voices and what do they say. But before he could do so, he heard the screeching noise. "I did," he replied, taking out his wand now. "Lets go," he said, hurrying towards the direction of the voice.

Sylvia stood beside the man and spoke softly, "If you are sure than lets proceed." She moved in front of the teacher and walked quickly into the tunnel. Her footsteps rang through the tunnel as she moved faster. It was only deep within the tunnel that she stopped, she turned back and looked around, it seemed that she had ran away from the teacher. She called out softly, "Hello, Where did you go?" She move slowly as she looked around.
((Please go with this, I wish for her to be trapped and you save her...))

(Okies)
Mayank stopped as he heard more voices and tried to concentrate on them. However, they turned out to be nothing much important. Meanwhile, the girl had continued to run away, and before he could stop her she had disappeared somewhere. It was very dark there so he lit his wand. "Snape?" he called her, his eyes scanning the surrounding, however he could not see her there.
(P.S. Sorry for the delay in replying.)

Sylvia looked around her for a few moments, Her hands clutched tightly around her wand, She looked all around and found nothing but darkness. She held her wand up and spoke softly, "Lumos" The hallway lit up slightly and suddenly a loud ringing was heard in her ear, Almost as if a young child screaming. Sylvia sank to the ground, Her hands reching up to her head, Her wand falling to the ground.
While Sylvia was unable to hear a cage was dropped down over her, Only moments after did the screeching stop and turn into laughter, A sharp voice spoke aloud from the darkness, " Tisk Tisk, Children should not be out alone at night." A shrill laugh filled the hallways and rang out throughout the dungeon.

Mayank looked around again as he heard a loud voice and walked in that direction instead. "Snape?" he called again, looking around as he walked. He stepped inside a dark dungeon where he had thought the voice had come. "Snape are you there?" he called the student again.

Sylvia shuttered as the witch came closer to her, Her wand coming close to Sylvia's neck. The witch spoke again, "The master has waited for you, Alas he wishes just to speak with you." She gave her a sideways glance and laughed shrillingly.
Sylvia frowned as the witch spoke of the master, She was sure that it meant the Dark lord. She shuttered for she was not ready for this. She glanced at her wand on the floor, with her foot she slowly and carefully nudged the wand closer. Once it was near enough she quickly bent down and spoke sharply, "Expecto Patronus" Quickly the hare jumped down the corridors and towards the professor.
As this happens the witch reaches in and pulls Sylvia to the side of the cage, Holding the wand to her throat waiting for someone to arrive. She spoke softly, "Foolish witch." She then stood silently and waited.
