Tadd had borrowed the quidditch balls and brought them out to the pitch, while others were flying around Tadd spent his hours hitting bludgers and searching for the snitch, practicing parts of the game he usually didn't play. Being a keeper he couldn't practice his part y himself, but he had fun doing the other stuff, Tadd had started as a beater back in his first year, and worked himself up to keeper. Tadd flew down back to the box of balls, and put away the snitch. He started to lock up the case and drag it back inside. Tadd looked up to see the Slytherin team walk into the pitch.
"I guess you'll be needing some balls since you have none right?" He dropped the box on the toes of the captain. Someone behind him started to talk.

Star smiled at Tadd he was halarious. "You might need to lend them some talent too, since they cant seem to have any. Ahhh just think you cant get any worse so all there is to go is up!" Star spoke each word with scarcasm dripping from each word. "And you have more than enough to spare." she added and patted Tadd on the shoulder then she stode away, smiling to herself. Shegrabbed her brrom from the side of the pitch and walked towards the castle.

Taryn walked out of the Ravenclaw locker room, after changing out of his normal school robes into something more comfortable, like a pair of jeans with big holes in both knees, and a sleeveless shirt that showed of his muscular arms. This was the ideal practice attire for a game like Quiditch, he thought.
It was the perfect day for practicing. It was sunny, with a few clouds here and there, with a slight breeze. He walked out carrying his Silverarrow, enjoying the weather. He was about to mount his broom so that he could just fly around a bit, since it had been awhile and since he didn't have any other equipment to practice with. Suddenly he looked up and saw Tadd, among a few others, flying around chasing something that seemed invisible to Taryn, which he could only assume was the Snitch. Instead of joining the others in the air, Taryn decided to go over to the bleachers and watch him for awhile. From the few times that Taryn had seem him around, he knew that Tadd was a nice guy and easy to get along with. Taryn had liked him almost instantly from the first time that they had met. Taryn watched Tadd fly down and walk over to the case of Quiditch balls. Taryn got up and began to walk over to Tadd, hoping to ask him if he wouldn't mind playing Keeper for awhile, so that Taryn could practice some shooting, since he had been a Chaser on his last team. He slowed down and stopped when he saw the Slytherin team walk out. Taryn watched Tadd exchange some quck words with the other team. 'Hahaha, this Boyo's a brave one for insultin' a whole team. But Ah'd probably put my money on 'im anyway. Hahaha, he could probably take 'em all!' he thought to himself. He saw a girl that he had seen a few times around the Common Room, walk up to the others. He had thought he remembered her name as Star, but he couldn't quite remember. He was still having a few troubles with remembering names. Taryn saw her say something, and then walk away. Taryn then decided that maybe he should go and back Tadd jup ust in case something unfolded. If not, then he'd ask him to practice for a little bit. Either way, he was going to have fun here, he thought, smiling devilishly to himself.

Tadd smiled at the girl and watched her walk away. He appreciated her addition, but didn't know what to say back. The team looked unmoved at what they had said, but as he turned to walk away he saw Taryn and walked over to him. "Hey man. What are you to out here?" Tadd said, then summoning his broom over.

"No, bu' wha' Ah really wanted was ta ask you if you wanted ta help meh practice a little bit? Ah heard that you're quite the Keeper!"

Tadd laughed. "You could say that. Quidditch is in my blood." Tadd mounted his broom. "Grab a ball, and lets go."

"Alrigh'!! Ah must warn you though....it's been awhile since Ah've played. Ah migh' be a lil' rusty," he said as he opened the chest and grabbed the red leathery Quaffle. He mounted his Silverarrow and tossed the Quaffle at Tadd as he shot off into the air, shouting, "Race ya'!!"

Tadd caught the ball in one arm and raced after Taryn. He tossed the ball and hit it with the end of his broom to Taryn. He flew around in the sky and waited for the toss back.

Taryn deftly caught the ball with one hand above his head. Taryn then raced forward in the direction that Tadd was heading. With great effort Taryn lifted his legs up onto the top of his broom and steadied himself with one hand, with the other holding the Quaffle. As Taryn got closer he suddenly jumped off of his broom, high into the air and cocked his hand back behind him, prepping for a mighty throw. "Go deep!!" he shouted at Tadd and threw the ball with a tremendous effort over Tadd's head, towards the not to distant goal posts. Taryn then turned his attention from his throw to his broom that was now several feet below him. "Oh, shite," he cursed as he realized his predicament. He only just then realized that up until that point he had been hovering in mid-air, but then he felt his body begin to fall back towards Earth. As Taryn came close to his broom once more, he grabbed it and swung himself back on without too much difficulty. "Ohhhhh, thank you, thank you, thank you....." he wispered, greatly relieved. He then turned his attention to Tadd chasing after the Quaffle and zoomed off in that direction as well.

Tadd raced after the ball and caught it before it was near any ring. He watched the boy as he fell and flew back towrds him to help, but he caught himself. He tossed the ball back to Taryn. "You're gonna have to do better then that." He scoffed.

"Ohhh, ya' think so, do ya'?" he asked tauntingly. "Ok, then," he replied with a devlish smile. He raced straight at Tadd, but moments before they collided, Taryn tossed the ball over Tadd's head as he swerved into a downward dive, flying underneath Tadd and then ascending once again up behind Tadd, just in time to kick the ball through a hoop. "How's tha'?" he asked after he had retrieved the ball and flown back to Tadd, with a smile.

"That was okay." Tadd said. "But in a real quidditch match, I wouldn't be this far away. And there would be 12 other players out here. Plus bludgers. Come on man. One last try. Like you mean it. And like your scared." Tadd flew over the the goal posts. And waited.

Taryn shrugged. 'Eh. He does have a point. But ok.' Taryn flew into position, thinking of a move to do. Then he had it. Ah hope this works like Ah want et too. Tha' would be sweet.' He smiled to himself. "Here et cooms!" he yelled over to Tadd. Then, taking a deep breath he shot off towards Tadd once again, moving at breakneck speed. Taryn leaned completely flat on his broom to avoid getting blown off. When he was still a few feet out, he did it. Taryn tossed the ball straight up into the air. While it was in the air, Taryn lifted himself off of his broom, his hands still on its end, and twisted completely around, doing a spinning motion in the air to gain velocity for his attack. Swinging his entire broom with tremendous force like a bat, he hit the Quaffle as it came down like a baseball, sending it hurtling towards Tadd at Mach speeds. He had no doubt that Tadd would catch it, but at that speed he hoped that it would be enough force to knock Tadd through the hoop itself. At least, that was the idea. He hoped it worked, but it might not.

Tadd watched with open eyes as he inspired the boy to try something so big. He swirved out of the way when the ball headed towards him, though the ball could have fallen straight in his lap, it would have sent him falling to the ground, and it was only Autumn. Quidditch season would not be ruined for him. If he caught it perfectly and broke his arm, well that would have sucked but been okay. But if he fell from where he was flying now, over 300 ft in the air, he could have been hurt worse. He watched the ball fly through the middle hoop. "Nice man. I think its time for a break." He flew in circles for a bit before retrieving th quaffle and flying to the sandy ground. He sprawled out his broom next to him, his arms folded behind his head and he looked up at the clouds. "Looks like a basilisk." He said pointing to a cloud.

Taryn smiled as he watched the Quaffle sail through the hoop, but that wasn't the only reason. He smiled mostly because he was glad that Tadd had been smart enough to move instead taking that Quaffle head on. The last thing Taryn had wanted to do was hurt Tadd, even though he was confident that Tadd could take almost anything that he could throw at him. Taryn followed Tadd to the ground and laid down a foot or two away. He laughed at Tadd's observation of the cloud. "Hahaha! Nay, et looks more like my old Aunt Gertrude et does. Oi! But tha' one there looks somewhat like Professor Hawkins. D'ya see et? The one with the dissproportionate face?" he asked pointing, chuckling to himself.
