Second Thoughts, Second Chances

[Harley Johanson]

Harley sat down on the ground barely out of reach of the Whomping Willow and looked up at it. For the second time in her life, she was genuinely scared for her life and the life of one other person. She pulled her left sleeve up to her elbow and looked at the dark mark that was burned on her forearm. For th first time ever, she wished that she had never became a death eater.

Lilith was taking a stroll and noticed Harley alone by the Whomping Willow. Harley was examining her left forearm and had the look of fear and the downtrodden upon her face.

Lilith approached silently, her booted feet and jean clad legs making no sound to warn Harley of her approach.

"Harley.... what's wrong?" Lilith said when she stopped inches from Harley.

Harley qucikly pulled down her sleeve and looked up at Lilith nervously when she heard her voice. "Oh, um I'm just thinking." she said. She stayed silent for only a moment when Lilith's stare made her speak again.

"Okay, I'm just a bit scared right now. That's all." harley said quietly

[Heather Granger]

Heather walked down to the whommping willow on her way to see Tony, she saw Harley and Lilith, she smiled over but knew they would not want her there so she walked up to Harley and causually said to her, "I will not be here for long i just came to ask you if you would please do me a favour, I know you know all about me and Tony and how we are now engaged but don't tell the other Death Eaters. I know he is one but if the others found out it would mean that both our lives would be in great danger, more so. I would ask Sarah but she blurts everything out. So please could you do this for me." Heather asked her slightly concerned for not only her and Tony's safety but for Drop too.

"Don't worry, I won't tell." Harley said sincerely to Heather. She pulled her knnes up her chin and watched as the tree tried to hit her, but only missed by inches.

Hmm... engaged to a Death Eater and trusting a Death Eater with her secrets? How peculiar! And yet she seems to hate Harley with a passion! I will find out more about this one later..

Lilith's mind was intrigued by the unusual behavior of this Gryffindor. Nevermind that. Get Harley back first. Then investigate other students. Lilith approached Harley and sat down close enough so that their toes touched and she could look Harley in the eye.

"Sis," Lilith froze. She hadn't called Harley 'sis' in years. They weren't really.. but close enough.

[Sarah Draggory]

Sarah was bored so deiced to walk down by the whomping willow. Once she was near the tree she saw Heather, Harley, and Lilth sitting by the whomping willow. So she walk to them. Hey said Sarah when she reached them.

Harley looked at Lith with a surprise. She hadn't been called sis in a very long time. She had almost forgotten about that. Harley then heard footsteps coming towards them. She looked around and saw Sarah. "Hey." she said before placing her chin on her knees.

Hey guys, what is the matter asked Sarah

[Heather Granger]

"Erm nothing, thank you, I know it seems a little out of character of me to be asking you for favours but this feud cannot continue as it is getting even more serious than before." Heather said to Harley quietly so only Lilith and Harley could hear.

[Harley Johanson]

"Heather, leave me, Lilith and Sarah alone please" Harley said not taking her chin off her knees.

[Sarah Draggory]

Lilith squatted down to Harley's level and spoke to Heather even though she was looking at Harley. "Heather, don't mind Harley's harsh tone and words. I believe that you should stay here,.. for a bit. Your help would be greatly appreciated." Lilith's voice took a stern tone as she then spoke to Harley. "Are your convictions failing you now, Harley? Are the consequences becoming too much too bear?" Lilith whispered in Harley's ear, her voice almost in a sinster-sounding hiss.

"Saying this to you can be considered treason but you deserve to know. You will be soon be hunted down and killed by the best hit men the death eaters can provide. Congratulations, you caused your own demise Lilith." Harley whispered back to Lilith.

Lilith pulled a long chain from around her neck. On it was a tiny glass vial with a blue liquid in it. She gave Harley a pained grin. "Good thing I never leave home with this. They'll never get info out of me if they catch up to me. This will make sure of that. And looks like it's time to come out of retirement. Another good thing.. what I do flows in my blood. I didn't let myself get rusty." She stood and looked at Harley. "If it comes down to a fight between you and myself Harley, I will not back down. And you know that I can end a battle quicker than your nervous system can tell the muscles in your legs to run." Lilith said this as statement, the truth, not a challenge.
