And if you feed her sugar, she flies even faster!

Oryn and Flyte made their way into Honeydukes, and Oryn wondered for a moment why he hadn't been in this shop before. He looked around at the shelves of fudge, sweets, and chocolates, and then looked around at the more exotic and enchanted candies. Really, he had to admit that this was impressive. The people who ran the shop were brilliant, even he had to admit that.

Flyte skipped excitedly as she followed Oryn into the store, the shelves were lined with so many sweets that she almost died right then and there from anticipation. She grabbed Oryn's hand, kissed him happily on the cheek and dragged him across to a set of shelves that held rows and rows of chocolates.

'Oryn! Look at this!' Flyte was trembling with excitement as she pointed at a small chocolate flower that was blooming in front of them. 'Oh my god - its gorgeous!'

She tugged him along another row, looking for more enchanted treats.

[Oryn Vance]

"Are... are you supposed to eat it, or just look at it?" he asked curiously, looking at the flower, before he was pulled on to the next thing.

"Now... this is interesting," he said, looking at a luminescent sweet that was supposed to make you glow in the dark for three hours. "Might make sleeping difficult, though, if you don't time it right..."

[Flyte Vance]

Flyte giggled at the thought that entered her mind and blushed slightly.

'I don't think I could ever, ever, eat any of these...' her voice was hushed with something akin to awe. 'they are sooo pretty.'

Her stomache grumbled loudly and she turned a darker shade of red.

[Oryn Vance]

Oryn chuckled. "Sure you can. We'll get plenty and we'll eat all of them. Starting," he said, winking as he picked up a few of the glowing chocolates, "with these."

He looked around. "What else do you want to try? Come on, pick anything."

[Flyte Vance]

'um, maybe one thing - I don't have a whole lot of cash..' Flyte looked around her with wonder, her eyes settling on a small butterfly shaped chocolate, its wings fluttering prettily.

'hmm maybe I can keep it? Do you think it would melt?' she smiled at the pretty thing in the palm of her hand.

[Oryn Vance]

"Ah, no. What sort of gentleman would I be if I made you pay for your own sweets?" he teased. "See, this is how it works. You pick everything you want, I pick everything I want. I buy it all, then we go to the Three Broomsticks to get some dinner before we start loading ourselves with sugar."

[Flyte Vance]

Flyte laughed at Oryns enthusiasm. His teasing making her flush again and she turned to look at the display behind her to hide her blushing.

'I.. um.. are you sure Oryn?' Flyte was carefully and deliberatly studying the display of Every flavor beans before her.

[Oryn Vance]

"I'm positive," Oryn said, a finality in his voice that didn't leave any question about whether he was serious or just being nice. "Pick them well... there's no use in regretting not picking something up after we go back to the school."

Flyte led Oryn through the store picking out things that caught her eye but also trying not to be greedy.

She began to think about how she admired him for his confidence and the way he knew just exactly who he was, and found herself taking his hand without noticing she was doing it. She smiled at the thought of first meeting him and how random she had been feeling...

'I'm glad you stumbled upon me during your midnight wanderings, though I am shamed to think about how I appeared to you.. or what you were thinking of me afterwards..' Flyte blushed slightly.

"How you appeared to me?" Oryn asked, quirking an eyebrow. "Oh... you mean the girl sitting in a classroom in her nightdress?" He smiled slyly as he teased her. "I don't know what there is to shame you, though, either about how you appeared when you were hidden behind a closed door, or what I was thinking of you."

[Flyte Vance]

'Hey don't you go downgrading my 'Moonlight boudoir' to 'old classroom' - a girl has to feel she has some class somewhere', Flyte laughed at the teasing. 'I guess i just need to accept I am weird - even by Hogwarts standards hey?'

Pausing to consider what he had meant about what he was thinking of her, she blushed lightly again.

'What were you thinking then?' She held her hands behind her back and looked down watching her feet.

Oryn hesitated. "You mean as I fell asleep, with a pretty girl laying on me?" he asked. "Well, I'll admit that, being a man, there were a few... natural thoughts that crossed my mind, especially given that I knew how remarkably well you kiss. But mostly, I thought about how intriguing you are, and how out of character you seem to make me act."

[Flyte Vance]

Flyte rolled her eyes at Oryn, no longer embarassed but a little annoyed.

'You always make yourself sound so Voldemort.. gah, you frustrate me!' Flyte frowned slightly at him, 'why do you feel the need to be classified that way! I hate nothing more than labels... '

She snatched a packet of crisps from a shelf and added them to her little pile. She turned on him with frustration, her voice soft.

'Name me one bad thing you did, conciously aware that it was bad!'

"In the past two years, I've blackmailed at least three people, six if you count girls that I simply knew too much about for them to be able to warn anybody that I take people's confidences for exactly that purpose. And to stay true to form, I would have tried to seduce you there, in your moonlight boudoir, the very night I met you. Only it seemed very... wrong to even consider doing it." The stark frankness he said this with, and the lack of any deceptive emotions coming from him, didn't leave much reason to doubt that he was being serious.
