Aden and Alex nodded in unison.
"Splendid! I can't wait!" She exclaimed with a thumbs up. Alex's eyes watched the waitress scurry along and bring a big glass of butterbeer to Niva. He had been wanting one ever since they entered.
"If Aden hadn't spent all our money on stupid trick quills, I could have a butterbear." He mumbled. The one thing that could distract him from an adventure was anything about food.

Smiling Niva ordered two other butter beers.
"Don't think that's free. I expect lots of mischief in payment....and..." thinking hard she smiled again, "And Alex has to dance with me once at the ball." Laughing she shied away in case he yelled or Aden batted at her.

Alex now was blushing again. THe thought of her and him close together her body pressed against his...He blushed even redder. Aden just laughed, thanking Niva for the generous gift.
"Your spoiling the boy, you should have made him do something stupid, or something that actually had some meaning!"
"That would be a change, ya know ME be the twin to do something stupid!" He said, still scarlet. It was true, he did more stupid things than Aden, but that didn't mean she was competly great.
Aden drew her wand, laughing a little at the boy.
"You see this, this is what you use to make spells." She informed him.
Alex gulped down his butterbeer in almost one sip.
"Ha ha Aden, your so funny!" He then directed his stare out the window.
"He'll be fine, don't you worry!" Aden said patting his head.

Blushing Niva smiled.
"Oh it means something." she too had to supress cetain thoughts. They were the first she had had like that in her time at Hogwarts so it was strange to her.
"I don't spoil. I know you guys are worth way more than butter beer. Besides mum and dad left me with more money than I know what to do with any way. Might as well have fun with it."

"butter beer is good!" Alex exclaimed, holding it close to him now.
"If there were a way to swim in it, I would!" he added with a grin. His mood was suddenly lighter, he was happy to hear it actually meant something to her.
"I feel like a charity case, the way you feed us all the time!" Aden said, gulping down more. "But if it is no problem for you then I see no mind of taking the gifts!" She too shared her love for butter beer with her twin.

"Please it's more so I don't have to eat or drink alone. Plus you both love food so much it is just fun to watch someone truely enjoy it. You are the only real friends I have so I have to spoil you while you'll let me." with a wink at Aden she added, "Besides how else am I ever going to get a date with Alex?" she timed it perfectly so that he was trying to swallow butter beer.
She wondered if he'd splutter or spit it out.

Aden laughed, she too wondered how he would react to this. Of course Alex would never spit out butter beer, so he placed a hand over his mouth just in case, and forced it down. It burned his throat, rushing down his air pipe. He regretted not spitting it out now, for he was choking a bit on it. His eyes watered as he coughed for a moment. Aden was going to help, but he managed to say, "I'm fine....Just went down wrong..." He was blushing like a tomato now, not making eye contact with any of the two. Aden partially wanted to make fun of them, but she knew her brother would never her live that one down.
"Ah, Nice weather right Niva!" She exclaimed, pointing over to the window across from them.
"Sure is pretty over there!"

That slow beautiful smile her mother used to love spread across her rosy lips as she watched this. Reaching over and giving Alex's free hand a quick squeeze she acted non-challant just like Aden.
"Sure is beautiful. It will be fun sleeping in the shack with you guys. Maybe we can go for a moonlight walk and star gaze." she added.
It was so unusual to find out you liked someone; more than just a friend. Though she would never admit so first it was a thought that was now warmly lit in the back of her mind.
"So if we get back at 4:30 I'll grab my books and show you the spells. In fact, I know them by heart now so I'll leave you two the books to cast the proper spells. After check in we should meet up at the girls bathroom two corridors down and set up the spells to make the distraction."

Alex gulped. For the first time in his life, he was a little afraid to go on this adventure. He was afraid that feeling he was afraid of having would slip out. He managed all this time to hide them from his sister, his twin, and now all that wasted. His heart was pounding at the thought.
"Well, it is almost 4:30 now anyway, we should head back ." Aden said getting up. She looked to her brother who sprung out of his seat and rushed outside, waiting for them at the door. Aden smiled.
"I never knew, he actually hid something from me for once!" She said with a grin to Niva.

Niva, never one to notice that sort of thing looked confused.
"Wait what is he hiding?" deep down she thought maybe but she was sure it couldn't be. No one had ever liked her like that anyway; well not anyone that she had noticed. The twins were pretty much the only people she hung out with since puberty so she just couldn't be sure.
Oh but she would like it; she admitted to herself.
With a hopefully grin her chocolate brown eyes followed to where he was then back to Aden.
"Come on lady lets catch up before he runs off without us." this said she put her arm through Aden's and walked up to Alex, and with another uncommon stroke of boldness held out her arm to wrap in his too.
"Won't we look like a merry troupe of trouble makers coming back to the school like this?"

Alex gulped again as Aden smiled.
"Yea, we will look like a bunch of queer folk! Like gnomes, never liked em." She said with and angry look.
"You just hate them because one took your dolly!" Alex said, glancing over and studying the girl in between them. Soon the glance became a stare, From her rosy red lips down, with a slight pause at the chest, down to her perfect legs. He heard his sister respond in her usual snotty tone, but he didn't hear it, he was focusing too hard on her now. So hard, he didn't realize he had stopped walking.

(OOC-aww how cute. you definitely play a boy well and Aden is totally me at that age. LOL)
"Ya well we may look like gnomes but these gnomes are getting out of the school tonight. Ooo and maybe we can camp out in the room of requirement sometime too." she added before she saw what Alex was doing.
Her creamy skin flushed rosey when she realized he was staring at her. Not knowing what else to do she put a finger under his chin and lifted it to look at her eyes. Brown eyes laughed.
"Now now Alex don't stare dear. We have work to do. You can stare later." giving him a quick hug she laughed and pulled them up to the school.

Alex blushed deep crimson, he hadn't meant to. He was going to open his mouth when something hit his head. He looked up to see a branch had fallen on it. He glared to his sister who quickly pocketed her wand.
"Oh yes, we should focus on GETTING OUT TONIGHT ALEX!" She said, obviously telling him to stop gawking. Alex nodded, now rubbing the lump on his head.
"I am sorry..." He muttered, not making eye contact as the entered.
