Kelli poked her head out from behind the room of requirement door. seeing the coast was clear she stepped out into the corridor

Veritas happened along at this point, casting the Engorgio spell on objects at random. He ceased his magic-in-the-hallways as soon as he spotted the Slytherin.

Kelli heard footsteps behind her. she took out her wand and turned around. Standing in front of her was a hufflepuff boy. Seeing him, a suspicious smile spread across her face

Heather was walking along the corridor when she spotted Veritas along with a slytherin girl she knew this meant trouble. " Hey Veritas, how are you?" Heather said making conversation to hopefully distract Keli from whatever she was planning to do.

Veritas grinned innocently at the Slytherin. He was never on bad terms with anyone, not even Slytherins. Particularly since he was in Hufflepuff, the Slytherins never bothered him much anyway. And besides, he wasn't going to let this kid get to him no matter what was going on in her head. he recognized her as a sixth year, and he, Veritas, was most certainly a Seventh year. This playfully superior attitude had helped Veritas through some tough times in the past.

"Hey Heather," he said, turning to greet the newcomer. "I'm fine... where are you headed?" Maybe he could just walk with her wherever she was going.

"Well, well look who it is. It's miss little Heather." Kelli said with a smug smile on her face.

"Hello Veritus, good to see you jsut wandering really you can walk with me if you like." Heather said smiling at Veritus as she had a feeling he wanted to walk with her. "Hello Keli nice to see you here." Heather said as she glanced a look over at her, "may we help you?"

It was just then that Adaeze turned the corner. She raised one eyebrow at the sight of the three students, all of different houses. Lately, Adaeze had been, more or less, lurking in the shadows, yet she always managed to stay on top of recent events. She was beginning to tire of the role of eavesdropper, but she didn't want to get in the middle of anything. They wouldn't be able to accuse her of anything. It was just a simple stroll down the corridor. She slowly walked over to the group of students, subconsciously being as silent as possible.

Kelli eyed the girl taht was walking past then she turned her attention back to Heather. "I want to know where Harley is. She deserves a little present for her betrayl." Kelli said with a smile

Heather notoiced another girl had come towards them, Heather smiled over to her and greeted her. "So Keli how may i help you?" Heather asked Keli.

Well at least the Gryffindor girl seemed friendly. Adaeze stood a few feet away from Heather, leaned against a wall and pretended to read her History of Magic book. "You're going to regret this later," she thought to herself.

"I am sorry Keli but i do not have to tell you where Harley is, I think you had best leave her alone as she really does not want to see you." Heather said moving towards Keli, she whispered in her ear, " I would think you desereved the gift for betraying her and staying a Death Eater." Heather moved back with a smile to the other students and waited for Keli's reaction.

"She can't avoid me forever." She said she walked over to Heather. "I bet you convinced the order to protect her. I have my orders, and that is to bring Harley to the drak lord alive." she whispered in Heather's ear.

Heather stepped away from her, her smile fadded, "who the order protects is none of your business and you will not take her away. I will not let you."
