Artemis ran through the forest. She gasped for air as she went. Everytime she took a breath, it felt as if her broken ribs were going to pierce through her lungs. She had to keep moving. She had no choice.

Artemis stopped when she heard Sarah's voice. She had a look of pain on her face hwen she walked to the nearest tree and leaned against it. She put her hand on her ribs as she tried to take a deep breath. "I was sitting in a tree when I got attacked. I don't know what attacked me. If it's an animal, it's following my scent." Artemis said gasping

"Are you mad?" Artemis asked. She lifted her black long-sleeved shirt to look at her ribs. There was a huge bruise over her ribs and a small cut was in the middle of the bruise. She let out a small sigh when she saw this.

"Probably, they can climb trees. Right before I got attacked, I heard growling. Not many creatures who can climb growl." She said putting her shirt back down over the cut and bruise. "The problem with a werewolf is that they will hunt down a scent until it has either bitten them or sufficiently killed them."

"I agree. When we get there I need to get up to the hospital wing. I don't care about how much trouble I'll be in" Artemis said. The forest floor was putting small cuts in her feet as she walked to get her bow. She saw her bow laying about ten feet from where she landed on the branch. The branch was snapped in two and there was gray fur snagged on it. Artemis picked up the wad of fur and examined it. It was werewolf fur. "Sarah we need to leave right now. A werewolf has locked onto my scent." Once Artemis said this, there was a low growl coming from the bushes. Artemis picked up her bow and shot an arrow right into the bushes.

"Sarah, go now." Artemis said as a paw stepped out of the bushes. In a few seconds both Artemis and Sarah were looking at a full-grown werewolf
