Midnight Lake. (Open to Lilith, Sarah, and Harley)

"Harley, I think it's time you did." Lilith said in a soft voice, understanding how difficult this was for Harley.

Harley stayed silent as she stood uop and took off her flip-flops and rolled her jeans legs up to her knees. She walked over to the water and walked to where the water was up to her knees. "Why do you think that it's time to dig into my past?" she asked softly

Harley what has happen to you in this pass month all you do is yell or hit me. You use be like my big sister, Now you acting like my mother said Sarah throwing a stone in the water

Lilith did the same to her own jeans and joined Harley side by side in the water. "Because, you need to. I heard you say once that this was not the life you wanted to lead. You wanted to be a normal witch, not a Death Eater. Nearly had you there and then they stole you away again." Lilith placed a hand on Harley's shoulder. "If you share with me... I'll" Lilith bit her lip. "I'll share with you." She had just promised to tell Harley, a current Death Eater, some of the secrets that if Harley chose to share with her current master, could destroy Lilith forever.

"No, I won't let you Lilith. It's too risky." Harley said as she turned to face Lilith

Lilith could have cried... if she remembered how to cry. "Harley, something I have learned throughout my life... Everything is a risk. Breathing every morning is a risk. I risk my life everyday and yet here I stand."

"No, I will not dig in my past and I will not let you share." Harley said.

Lilith lifted her shirt and pulled her pants down to an angle so Harley could see a mark on her left hipbone. "Do you know what this brand means, Harley? And yes, it's a brand, not a tatoo."

Harley glanced down at the brand. her curiousity was telling her ask what it meant, but her logic kicked in. "Lily, I told you. it's too risky. If you tell me, both you and me could be in danger." she said quietly asgrabbed her left forearm.

"And it's already too late.. I've shown it to you now... and I know the Death Eater's mark is on your arm." Lilith replied, determination making her set her jaw and steel her nerves.

"This brand, marks me for a graduate of the Crescent Moon Association, a group of low profile people that are trained assassins..... Yes, Harley,..."Lilith paused and took out her pendant. "I am Silverthorne."

Harley's mouth dropped open when she heard this. She narrowed her eyes at Lilith. "Thanks, you probably just caused both of our deaths." Harley said as she turned around and walked out of the lake.

"Better both of us die than just you!" Lilith called after Harley, tears pricking her eyes but anger and pride forcing her to fight them off.

Harley stopped at the edge of the water. "Do you know what kind of problems this will cause me later on?" she asked as she fought off tears thinking about what could happen to her and Lily if the Dark Lord found out.

Lilith caught up with Harley. "Not if you fight. The Order can protect you.. just tell them what they want to know about the Death Eaters and Voldemort ... and you will be kept well-hidden! I swear it!" Again, for the second time, Lilith made the handsign that Harley knew.

"I betrayed the order not that long ago! I almost caused the death of half of them!" Harley yelled. "What in the bloody hell makes you think that they will take me back?" She knew that yelling at Lilith was a bad idea, but she couldn't help it. Her temper was already rising quickly.
