Iris laughed as he tickled her and stayed in his arms, a small smile staying on her lips as she remained in his grasp. Once he was finished she stop laughing and spoke, "I am very ticklish, Although It is funny as well." She smiles warmly and turned to Tristan, "Would you like to take a walk with me now? It seems a wonderful night out tonight." In fact the moon hung low overhead and the breeze had calmed to a silence. She smiled towards him as she waited for an answer, Her hair clinging to her cheeks from the water.

Tristan looked up at the sky. He hadn't even noticed that the sun was almost completely gone. Tristan smiled at her suggestion. "Yeah, yeah tha'd be great!" he said. He put her hands behind his neck and slid his left hand under her legs and began to carry her back to shore. He emerged from the water carrying her like a groom would do for his bride on the wedding night, the water dripping off of both of them. The breeze had calmed a bit, but the night air was still a bit chilly on his wet skin. He set her down so that she could get dressed again.

iris stood slowly on her own and shook her head lightly back and forth, water splashed off of her hair and through the night air. She smiled as she leaned down and placed her clothes back on. Once done she turned to him and smiled, She extended her hand and spoke, "I am having a wonderful time tonight." She widened her smile as she waited for him to take her hand.

Tristan had turned away slightly to give her some privacy while re-dressing. He looked back when she spoke. "Oh, aye. Ah haven' had such a wonderful time in mah life," he said, interlacing his fingers with hers and smiling, his white teeth shining dully in the night. Tristan, with his abilities as a metamorphmagus, changed his eye shape slightly to allow himself to see her better in the darkness. "Ah'm glad tha' you're having fun. Ah needed thus as weel."

Iris smiled towards him and spoke softly, "To think I was just going to rush back to my room for another book." She giggled as she finished and began to walk slowly, her hips swayed as she walked slowly.

Tristan laughed. "Weel, Ah'm glad tha' yeh decided ta' change your mind!" he said grinning, as she began to pull him along. He threw his shirt over his shoulder, not putting it on as they began to walk. Tristan smiled at the way her hips swayed, hypnotized by her movements, but then he shook his head, throwing him out of his trance, and began to walk in step with her, side by side. "So. Where would yeh like ta' go mah pretty?" he asked smiling down at her, tightening his grip on her hand.

Iris smiled, "Hmm perhaps the garden, I want to pick some flowers to brighten up the girls dorm a bit." She hated how glummy it always seemed in the slytherin common room. She smiled to Tristan, Her voice soft and smooth, "What is your favorite kind of flower Tristan?" She was curious, She was also happy to be spending time with him.

"Ahh! The garden. Wha' a wonderful idea! Some o' those flowers must light oop the night sky!" he said, going into a hypnotized trance as he pictured the way the moon must shine off of flowers. He had always been in love with nature and its beauty, despite his normally hard outer core. He snapped back to reality as she asked her question. "Ahhh," he said with a long but satisfied sigh. "Tha' would be the white rose," he said in a pleasant tone. "Et's kind of funny, because Taryn's favorite is the blue rose. They're kind of our signatures actually. The blue rose represents him, an' the white rose represents meh. Ah've lived a dark life up until this point," at this he squeezed her hand. "But deep inside, Ah'm still strong, positive, and Ah can still see the good in things, an' Ah believe tha' there es still some perfection left en thus messed oop world." As if to emphasize what he meant, he stopped walking, and pulled her close to him and looked deep into her dark eyes. He could see them clearly. She was so beautiful in the moonlight. Her soft face radiated into the night. "Like you," he said in a soft but strong whisper.

Iris blushed deeply and smiled, "Thank you Tristan, That is indeed a rare compliment." She thought about her favorite flower, "My favorite would have to be the blue rose as well." She knew it sounded badly, But she spoke quick, "The most beautiful would be a white rose with tints of blue splashed inside." She quickly smiled widely.

Tristan laughed a little. "Aye tha' et would!" he said. "Unfortunately Ah''ve not seen one like tha', but ef Ah did, et'd definatley be mah favorite." He smiled down at her. "Shall we be off then?" he asked. "So, do yeh have any siblings?" he asked, wanting to get to know her better.

Iris frowned, "Unfortunatly No, I was raised the only child. Although it is probably for the best, Due to the fact that my parents werent exactly parents." She smiled softly, "Although a little sister would have been wonderful, I am sure glad that I have my friends now." She then saw the garden, She pointed ahead, "It looks so beautiful." Her eyes shined in the moonlight as she saw the flowers.

Tristan frowned as she spoke. "Tha' must have been hard for you," he said softly. "But et's good tha' yeh have the people around you tha' yeh have. Friends are important. Keep those tha' yeh love at your side for as long as yeh can...." he said, his voice trailing off. They were near the gardens, but it wasn't the moonlight or the glowing flowers that made him fade away. It was the fact that his thoughts reverted back to those of the friends he had back in his childhood. He could see them all now: his younger brother Taryn, himself, Seth, Reid, and Kael. His glazed eyes filled with sorrow as his mind focused on the mental images of the last two. His friend Reid was now dead, and Kael....Kael was now on the wrong side. It was because of Kael's influence that caused Reid to be killed.....
Tristan came back to reality as Iris spoke and quickly wiped his eyes. "Emmm....yeah, yeah et's beautiful, he said with a small unconvincing smile. "Let's see ef'n we can't find yeh some baby blue roses shall we?" he said with a brighter smile than before.

Iris caught his mood as he began to talk and she faced him and frowned, She held him still and spoke to him, "Tristan, You would tell me if anything was wrong, Correct?" She stared towards him, hoping she had not upset him.

Tristan smiled down at her, knowing that she was worried for him. "Aye, tha' Ah would," he said, holding her close to him. "Don' worry about meh, love. Ah'll be fine. Ah was jus' reminiscin'. Bad memories. But Ah'm fine now, thanks to you. Now then, abou' those roses...." he said, hoping to change the subject.

Iris let it go slowly and then smiled, "Ofcourse, Lets go see about those roses." She moved into the garden carefully, She looked at several flowers, Her hands gently as she touched the buds. She smiled as she spotted a beautifully bloomed white rose, She spoke softly as she picked it, "For the one I have grown fond of." She picked it up and said a charm and soon the rose was within a barrier, Glass ice protecting it and keeping it alive, The rose would never die, It would forever remain in all its beauty and perfection.
