"Better," he said simply as he exhaled the deep breath he had just taken in. He looked up the moon as a wispy cloud covered it momentarily shrouding the area in temporary darkness. He closed his eyes as he felt movement around his feet, and opened them a couple of minutes later when the cloud had passed the moon.

'Good.' It was a single word yet it was filled with so much meaning. She was glad that she had been able to help him ease the burden he had been carrying.
She watched his face while he closed his eyes, his eyelashes glistened with tiny droplets of water and she bit her bottom lip. His shoulders were firm under her hands, his skin smooth, his presence reassuring.
As he opened his eyes she smiled at him softly.
'Glad to help.'

Stephan nodded silently as he glanced at her. "How are you feeling?" he asked her. he knew what she had done must have taken quite a bit of energy from her. As he supported her, he regretted not having her help on he water's edge. He looked up at the castle. It was dark, with the exception of a few windows here and there.

'A bit shakey but I'm okay.' she tried to smile reassringly at him. She followed his eyes to the castle. 'Its really a beautiful place if you remove from it and then look again. Its full of great people too.' she took a shakey breath. 'Its not Africa but its not quite hell either... unlike your class' she teased lightly.

"I do agree, my class is hell. Arguments and walk-outs for a first class is not a very good start," Stephan stated as kept his eyes on the castle. He let his eyes wander the grounds, and he sighed. "I hate to see what happens in my next lesson."

'Well you could throw them all off by entering with a smile on your face,' Flyte teased. 'Keep them guessing - thats my tip.' She studied his eyes quietly and then slipped from his arms,
She took a deep breath and let herself float for a moment.
'maybe we should head back to the shore..'

"Yeah, it's getting later by the second and I take it that you need to get some rest," Stephan said. "Sadly, you must swim back to the pier yourself I am getting exhausted."
He made sure Flyte was fine by herself and he dove under the surface, heading back to the pier. Resurfacing, he looked back, making sure that Flyte was okay.

Flyte swam back, taking her time, she wasn't as tired as he thought and she was feeling more and more alive with every stroke. She waved to him cheerily when he stopped to check on her and when she got to the shore she used her wand to summon them two towels.
'Here you go Sunshine.' she threw him a towel with a wink and a smile.

Stephan got out of the water and grabbed a towel from Flyte. "Thanks," he muttered before taking the towel to his hair, drying it. He then wrapped the towel around his waist and stood at the water's edge getting one last look at the lake before grabbing his wet clothes.

'What are you thinking of? Only happy things I hope.' Flyte came and stood beside Kerr, her towel slung around her neck. She stretched lazily and sighed happily.
The night was still warm and the sky was perfect, she had really enjoyed the swim.

"Nothing much really," Stepahn said with a sigh. This had been relaxing and hadn't felt this good for at least a couple of years. He narrowed his eyes and looked down at her. "Wait, what are you? My emotional supervisor or something?"

'Oh my god, that wasn't a JOKE was it?' Flyte gasped in mock horror and started to laugh. 'Think of me as your guardian angel, Professor. Sent here to look after you..' she grinned at him and flicked him with her towel.

He raised an eyebrow at when she flicked him with her towel. "Yes, I have my moments when it comes to jokes," Stephan said as he used a vanishing charm to send his wet clothes back to his office. He then stretched out his arms and yawned.

'Are you ready to head up to bed? That is, if you sleep in one, you are so grumpy you probably sleep on a bed of nails..' she teased lightly. 'Or we could see what food we can find in the kitchens? The house elves can always rustle up something...'

"Bed would be better. You have gotten yourself in enough trouble tonight to put you in 2 months worth of detentions," Stephan said as he turned around and started walking back to the castle. The towel was now dripping wet, and he removed it from his waist, throwing it at Flyte. He took a few more steps and stopped, turning his head towards her.
"Thanks Flyte, I needed this night," he said with a hint of a smile before he started walking again.
