Stephan held out his hands to Flyte. "Wait, your plan is to find me someone that I love and can marry before I try to overturn the decision of my son's custody?" he asked turning towards her. "You are trying to do the imposible there Miss Morticroft."

'Yes well if you let that frozen heart defrost then we might have more luck,' she poked her tongue out at him and sighed. 'The only way to get your son back is to contest it or be Ultra Evil and have his mother killed.'
She looked at him with a serious expression on her face.

"My heart is not frozen," he said quietly to himself in protest to Flyte's comment. He watched go serious, and crossed his arms when she mentioned that she knew someone.

With his free hand, he pinched the bridge of his nose and closing his eyes. "I'm almost 30, I'm single, and I have a son that is being taken away from me," he said opening his eyes. He looked down at Flyte. "I think it is time that I find myself another wife and leave behind the life that my ex has torn apart."

Flyte returned his gaze with sparkling eyes and a soft smile.
'Gee I never thought that a proposal would be like this, I always imagined the guy down on his knee.' she said, 'Stephen, you know I can't marry you for at least 2 more years - though if you are willing to wait I am sure it would be worth it. After all you know that we are soul mates!'
Her voice was playful and light.
'Moving on is a great idea, I'm glad we thought of it.'

Letting out a small laugh at Flyte's words, he released her. He sat down and sighed. "Now I see a slight problem," he explained looking up at her. "As a professor here, I am oblidged to stay here during school days. How in the world am I to find a woman when I only have 2 days a week to do it?"

'There's plenty of women here! They are everywhere. Or we could check out Hogsmeade and places like that, don't start doubting it before we try!' She flopped down on the ground beside him with a laugh.
'Between the two of us I am sure we can find someone - if you aren't willing to wait for me.' she said with a mock pout.

Stephan laughed. "I would still be too old for you and I doubt the custody case won't wait that long," Stephan said to her. he then turned his attention to Kirsty. "I guess it will have to be in that 2 days, I can't afford to take anymore days leave away from here."

"If she would die, I would be the first one they would suspect. Last summer, dropping off my son in a perfectly public place, she slapped me across the face just for one little offensive thing I said," Stephan explained. "I mean it was clear then and quite clear now that we both hate each other."

'Evil Witch!' Flyte was incensed. How dare she hurt Stephen like that! She was so annoyed suddenly that she could taste the bile in the back of her throat. She jumped to her feet, the colour draining from her face.

'How can you put up with the way she treats you!' Flyte spat the words, her anger surprising even herself. 'Its Disgusting! You need to do something about it!' Her hands were shaking and she felt like she was going to explode in anger.
What the hell! she thought rapidly. I care but not this much, I mean I feel like killing someone. I must be channeling!
Flyte looked around her rapidly. Trying to find the source of her anger but coming up empty.
