Estelle started flipping the pages, her hands finally stopped moving when they came to page 20.
"The book is powerful, its purpose being to gain life. Those who handle it must be cautious and wary, as an underaged witch or wizard is highly incapable of handling an emergency situation. When dealing with one, it is advisable to have at least three qualified wizards or witches..." Estelle looked up at her friends as she read it, noting there were three of them, alright. The problem was they weren't qualified at all.
"Do you want to do this?" she asked them, unsure. "We could just carry her to the Hospital Wing if any of you disagree. Although, it would take much longer..." she remarked.

"Alright then.." Estelle said, returning to the paragraph she had stopped at.
"To perform the ritual, three must cast a Protection charm around themselves, and if the situation arises, where a person is in mortal danger, the same charm must be cast upon him/her too." Estelle said, taking out her wand.
Pointing a wand at Krutika, she muttered, "Effaci Mundo." A jet of white light blasted from the end of her wand, forming a cricle around her unconscious friend, not including the Book of Souls.
Eyeing the charm with her critical eye for a moment, she finally nodded slightly. It will have to do. That was after all, the best she could manage at the moment. Turning her wand to herself, she proceeded to do the same.
"Effaci Mundo!" she said.
((Oh, I just invented the spell...hehe!))

After they had all casted a protection spell upon themselves, he said eagerly, "Go on.. what is written then?"

"Everyone has to perform the spell upon themselves. It says here that it's crucial," Estelle said, looking at Heather.
"Go on, Heather. Just do exactly what we did," she prompted the older girl.

"Okay...now it says we have to form a circle around the afflicted person... and hold our hands together like this," she said, taking hold of Heather's hand in her left hand. With the book at her feet, she pointed her wand at it and muttered a spell. The book levitated in front of her face, just high enough for her to read without hurting her neck.

"Well, it says that we should use our blood to seal the magic, and then chant the magic words...." she broke chain and took out a pocket knife.
She held the knife to her palm. Biting her lip, she closed her palm around the knife's sharp edge and cut herself. Opening her hand, she saw the fresh blood come out.
She wiped the stained knife on her robe hastily, and handed it to Heather, who looked ready to faint.
"Your turn," she said.

"Erm we have to ise our blood? Fine." Heather said as she carfully sliced her hand with the blade, to let blood drip down. "Here." she said as she handed the knife to Ronit before wrapping her hand up in a bandage she conjured up.
