Annika felt her stomach gurgled. She knew she was hungry as she had missed breakfast the same day. She had awaken too late to start with and rushed to the defense against the dark arts classroom without even wearing her socks and tie. Luckily, the professor did not notice and minus points from Ravenclaw. She was really disturbed about the house points. For once, it showed that Ravens was in the third place, right behind Gryffindor. She knew she should work harder like her red-crested mates, but she just could find the time to do so.
Right now, she was in front of the Great Hall, the massive door opened for all the students since it was lunch. She could smell beef, turkey and chicken, gravies and so much more just by standing outside. From where she is, the Ravenclaw table was nearly full. She had too hurry now.
Reaching the table, she took a seat at the far corner, near the staff table in front of the hall. The first delicacy she reached was the chicken. She at them quietly, hoping that one of her friends were there sitting and enjoying the meal with her.
