(Sup people? This post is open, even if it isn't very exciting, it's my first one so...join in if you want! Gray sighed as he sat by the waters edge, looking up he could see the rippling motions in the water as people ran their hands over it, and a few older students were splashing around in the lake, he shook his head. the water must be freezing, he thought. After rummaging around in his bag for a few seconds he pulled out a few rolls of parchment, a large leather bound book, a quill and some ink. He set the book down and rolled a piece of parchment over it, dipping his quill in the ink he began to draw the scene in front of him. Gray stopped suddenly as the water in front of him rippled, a small creature, about the size of his palm was swimming on the surface of the water, it made a small noise and swam over to him. Despite his common sense screaming warnings at him he thought it was cute, it looked at him as though it had never seen a human before. Gray was about to reach to it when he heard the sound of shoes crunching in the grass behind him, he froze as he the feeling that someone was watching him stole over Gray...

(Hello, your posts great so far)
Heather was walking down to the lake to relax and finish off her homework for potions, when she saw a third year sitting at the waters edge, as she approached she noticed he had gone pale.
"Hello Gray, are you ok? you look very pale." Heather said worried about what was wrong with Gray.

Veritas walked up to the pair.
"Hey guys... have either of you seen my pygmy puff? He's about the size of my palm, and answers to 'kud'. Last time I remember having him out of my pocket, I was sitting around the lake..."

(erm why don't we try and make this post interesting hey?)
"Wait!" Heather exclaimed. "Did you just see that? Over by the lake it looked like a small creature of some sort, nothing that I have ever seen or studied before."

"Really?" asked Veritas, wizzing back around. He really didn't want to lose this pygmy puff... it was his third in less than a year!
"Where did you see it?" He glanced over at Gray, who seemed to have randomly fallen asleep. Or maybe he fainted. Either way, he wasn't going to wait for a response from him any time soon. (heh)

"It was just at the foot of the lake, it was an odd dort of creature it reminded me of phoenix but it may have been a croos breed, Hagrid always raised cross breeds." Heather said as she looked back, she glanced at Gray who seemed to be out in a world of his own.

"Wow, a phoenix? Ok, it's sounding like that's most definitely not my pygmy puff. I'm betting it is one of Hagrid's breeds." Veritas turned to look at the lake. Somewhere below the surface he thought he could make out a greyish little creature.

"Oh well, maybe we could see it again if it comes closer." Heather said yawning, "lovely day isn't it?" Heather said lying down on the grass starring up at the sky.
