"you have got to be kidding!" Leah shoutes throwing her arms up in exasperation. "You pulled me all this way here to leave me stuck in some crazy wizarding side of town?" She crossed her arms on her chest and glared at the man in front of him. He wasn't even a man. How did he manage to convince her to go here? And then she remembered
The day was dark and gloomy. Leah was hungry. She ran out of money again and she needed to get some. But the streets were practically empty. And then she saw him. Tall, blond hair. Leah had to admit he was handsome. He stood in the rain unaffected, talking through the small silver phone in his hand. He seemed busy. She heard him murmur soft words to the person on the other side and a jealousy stabbed her. She sneaked behind him and slipped her hand into the pocket of his jacket. Or at least she started to when suddenly he turned around and faster than the wind he caught her hand. His eyes were liquid gold, piercing through her. His beautiful and almost pale face was inhumanly scary. She tried to escape but his grip was like steel.
That night they talked a lot. He watched her swallow another pizza but he didn't eat. She told him her story and he told her his. He also told her about his talent to affect people's emotions.
"Why don't you at least make me insanely happy about being here?" he spat

Jasper pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed trying to calm himself down. She'd been the pain all this time. "Probably because I need all my energy to calm myself down so I don't kill you" He answered with a sweet smile. "now will you stop yelling and let me think for a moment? I'm trying to decide what we need to do before we go home" Home. Finally. He'd been away for long weeks now, looking for his past. He finally found it, finding something else along with it. And now he would go back home. To Alice. He missed her like crazy

To everyone's pleasant surprise it was Christian who had called Alice up asking if they could spend some time together. The strong sense of loneliness back again now that his sister was off on her honeymoon and his best friend gone on some sort of quest to find himself. So it was either suck it up and call Alice or spend the next few days alone and miserable locked up in his room. In all actuality the two of them got along together great once they put all their differences aside.
They were just exiting a children's clothing store, bags in hand and smiles present on their faces, when Alice let out a loud squeal and darted off down the sidewalk. Pouncing her boyfriend from behind, Christian following along slowly. She'd been having so much fun that she hadn't seen his return until she found him in the flesh. "You're back!"

The familiar sweet scent attacked Jasper as unexpectedly as the tiny figure that was currently perched on his back. "Alice!" He pulled her over his shoulder cradling her small body in his arms as he held her tight to his chest looking at her with eyes so full of love he didn't need to say the words to let her know how he felt. But he said them anyway. "I missed you so much. I promise to never leave you again. Not even for a day" He murmured

Leah frowned when a small girl attacked Jasper. Her hand shot to her wand but at the same time Jasper started cuddling the strange girl. The sweet words helped her guess who the girl was. Of course. Alice. The infamous Alice. Leah made a gagging sound rolling her eyes at the sappy scene in front of her. She reached out and picked Diego from the pavement

Another squeal escaped Alice's lips as she was pulled over his shoulder and into his strong awaiting arms, her lips managing to come in contact with every centimeter of her boyfriend's face before finally catching his lips with fingers in curling in his blond hair. "Oh god I missed you too!" She murmured into his mouth.
"If you think they are bad now try catching them when they think no one is looking." Christian commented loudly, appearing at their side a minute or so later. His smile fading into a grimace after only a few seconds of watching them. Another couple in love, it made him sick. He turned his gaze to the redhead that Jasper seemed to have acquired. Lucky man. How many girls did he have after him now? "Umm..cute cat. Can I pet it?"

"Alice, my Alice" Jasper kept whispering the words like a prayer holding her tight in his arms and kissing her cheeks and her little nose. He couldn't wait for the moment when they'd finally be all alone so he could lie down with he in his arms without all these curious eyes. He didn't even acknowledge Christian's presence and forgot completely about Leah. His whole attention was focused on the girl in his arms. The one he loved more than anything in the world and missed more than it was possible.

"I'd rather not" Leah snorted averting her eyes from the happy couple. It's not that they were so disgusting although that's what she wanted them to think. Jasper was lucky. He had someone who loved him. And someone to love. Leah buried her nose in Diego's soft fur for a moment before looking up at the boy. "Sure" She said taking a small step in his direction. Guessing from his comment she figured he knew Jasper.

"I'd rather not too but unfortunately the image is still burned into my eyelids. It's amazing how easy just the little things get them in the mood." Christian sighed with a roll of his eyes. He still didn't find what they had together very fair for everyone else though he was getting better at not showing this on his face. He adjusted his bags into one hand then reached forward to scratch behind the cats ear briefly before letting it fall back to his side once more. "I've been thinking about getting Brooklyn a kitten. Or maybe a purple duck." He stated more to himself than to the strange girl who probably didn't have a clue as to what he was talking about.

"So you see them more often?" Leah glanced at the couple again ang regretted it immediately. "I'm sorry" She grimaced turning her eyes to Diego instead. The cat had always been very suspicious but strangely he didn't mind the caress. "Brooklyn?" Another one with a girlfriend. Leah glared at Jasper. What was with the idea of bringing her to this land of happy people. "Why did you bring me here, Jasper?"

Jasper stopped kissing Alice for a moment remembering where they were. He really shouldn't leave her for so long. He was losing control after the withdrawal. Still holding his pixie girlfriend in his arms her turned to Leah. "I've already told you and I'll explain the details when we get home. Now you should eat something. It's been a long flight" His lips curved in a gentle smile

"My daughter.." Christian replied automatically. He was actually rather surprised that Jasper hadn't given the girl a briefing about his friends and who she was or wasn't allowed to attack. But then again she didn't look like one them, the girl had color to her. She was human. He turned his gaze back to the happy couple. Watching them any longer would cause his discomfort to show on his face. It was best to get away while he was ahead. "It looks like our strange little date is over, Alice. I should be going. Welcome back Jasper..Ma'am.." He said quietly, nodding to each one in turn as continued down the sidewalk in the direction he had came.
"Oh no you don't!" Alice said quickly. She jumped from Jasper's arms and sprinted to Christian's side to catch his wrist to stop him. "I am not yet finished with you! Besides, you have nothing to do but lock yourself in your room and mope." Christian glared but Alice rolled her eyes, ignoring his wishes. "Jazz, Christian took me shopping! Isn't that amazing? We didn't fight once!"
"Until now.." Christian grumbled. "Let me go Alice!"

Jasper's eyes widened in mock fear. "You two went shopping together? Tell me, how many centuries will I have to work to pay the debts on my credit cards?" He laughed turning to Chris. "Did you at least manage to buy something for yourself or was it all Alice day?" he glanced at the bags then back at Christian. "I want you to stay. And everyone, I want you to meet Leah"

"Oh" Leah said in a silly voice. A daughter. Great. This one was a happy family man. Her eyes widened and she almost choked when she heard his next words. "What did you call me??" But then Christian introduced her to the others. She shifted nervously and nodded raising one hand. "Hi" Her cheeks flushed crimson but then she remembered she wasn't supposed to blush in Jasper's company so she took a few deep breaths to calm down. The blush vanished bringing the paleness back to her cheeks

Christian glanced down at the bags in his hand and shrugged, he had gotten quite a bit. "It wasn't an Alice day, everything is for Brooklyn. Alice said that she wanted to live vicariously through me or somthing like that. Don't worry though, I paid for everything." He replied.
Alice smiled sheepishly. They couldn't blame her, she had spent Jasper's entire absence alone since they hadn't managed to save the Turner girls before he left. She turned to Leah as she was introduced, giving the girl a good once over before nodding. This one wasn't a threat to her relationship, yet. "It's a pleasure, Leah. I'm Alice.."
"I'm Christian.." He mumbled, turning his gaze back to the redhead and noting how she forced herself not to blush in Jasper's presence. He never took the effort to save his friend like that. "You know Jazz, you are stronger than you think if you can handle me throwing myself at you all the time. You didn't have to get the poor girl paranoid. Just for that you have to buy the both of us something expensive to eat." He winked.
