((I am not ven sure if this class had a lesson One, but as most classes are on that second lesson I have titled it so))
Professor Finnian Ruberagon stretched as if he were about to complete his morning exercise. He was wearing standard teaching robes, though he did not envision himself wearing them throughout the entire lesson. Today the classroom was set-up differently to any other lesson. He had completely removed the desks and chairs from the class and had laid out twenty rugs in four rows of five.
Once he had done this he also laid out a rug for himself. He had also managed to score himself a classroom with quite a large window, which he knew would definitely come in handy with the class he was preparing to teach today. And so as he prepared for his class he ensured that the curtains in the window were taken down. He flicked his wand at them wordlessly and the curtains flew from their rods wrapping into the tiniest ball with a quiet and quick pop. The ball was so small in fact that he took the ball and dropped it into his breast pocket, when it sat completely unnoticeable.
He crossed the classroom as the bell sounded around him. He knew the students would be arriving soon and so wanted to be sure the classroom was completely ready. Standing in the middle of the room he stopped and looked around.
“Accio paintings,” he chanted and five paintings flew from where they had been previously secured on the wall and landed by the blackboard in a neat bundle. Returning to the head of the class he waited for his students to arrive.

Estelle knocked on the door. She knew she was first to arrive. She had been waiting for the others to come for a few minutes now, but since no one was here yet -and besides, she was bored waiting- she entered the classroom alone.
"Good morning professor," she said, a quick glance at the rugs on the floor.
Well, this is different.

Krutika entered the class. She knew atleast one student will be already there as a Gryffindor girl has just entered the class room. "Good morning, Professor," she smiled, and then looked around the class. There were no chairs and tables, instead there were rugs, and she realized today was going to be something different.

Anna zipped her bag and walked into the opened door classroom. The first thing she noticed that there was a large window and twenty or so rugs laid on the hard floor. She stopped mid-way, apparently lost for translation. Her mouth was hanging open slightly. Are we having nappy time or something?, was her first thought. A few seconds had passed when she realised that she was standing stupidly in the middle of the chamber. She walked hurriedly to the professor. "Hello, professor. Nice to have a lesson with you today," said Anna. She then backed away and chose one of the rugs and sat on it, cross-legged.

Annika rang the bell. The tingling sound echoed through the hallway. Afraid that she would make a racket outside since all the classes were in session, she entered the classroom. Backing the room, she closed the door silently. When she turned, she saw mats laying neatly in rows in the middle of the class. The professor standing in front, waiting patiently, and her three friends already there. One of them was making herself comfortable. Annika had expected something like this in Charms. She was looking forward to the lesson.
"Good morning, professor," greeted Annika and then she joined Anna on the mat next to her.

Audrey entered the classroom. A stack of paintings laid neatly in front of the board. The sunrays crept inside the classroom through the open window. Her friends already there waiting patiently for the class to start. "Hello, professor!" greeted Audrey. She wasn't sure whether they should sit or stand. "Err...should I sit on the mat, professor?" asked Audrey unsurely.

Estelle smiled as she heard Audrey's question. She herself was still standing despite being first to arrive. She didn't know whether to sit or stand. She waited for the professor's answer.

Heather walked into the classroom bewildered by the sight of the matts on the floor. "Good morning professor" she said as she leant on the wall waiting for class to begin.

((From this post forward anyone else wishing to join this class will need to play as if they have been here the whole time, I will not permit late arrivals to this class.))
Professor Ruberagon stood silently as the classroom filled around him. He was slightly irritated when, without instruction, some of the students felt it appropriate to sit upon the rugs he had laid out for the lesson. He said nothing though as he waited for the rest of the class to arrive. When at last the room was filled to the capacity of names on his student ledger he looked around at those few who were sitting, against those whom had prudently remained on their feet. At long last one of the students appeared to have some sense;
“You are quite right to ask Miss Swanton as sitting on the rugs, at this point would hinder your ability to participate in this class,” he said bringing his stern look swooping down upon the students who had already sat on their rugs. He wanted it understood from the outset tat he was not a teacher to be messed with and he would expect his students to either seek directions if unsure, or simply do nothing until they were given directions.
“Stand,” he said sharply standing with his wand straight down at his side as a drill sergeant might do with his rifle, “Each of you behind one rug each, quickly now, and without noise thank you, today’s lesson is going to be quite full and we do not need idle chatter clattering up the precious minutes in which all of your attention should be focused on me,” again his orders were stern, and he didn’t mind his students realising this one bit.

Krutika did not fail to notice what Professor was trying to tell his students; that he was not someone to cross. She walked and stood behind one of the rugs in front, and waited for the lesson to start.

Estelle quickly realized that Professor Ruberagon meant business. She stood behind a rug next to Krutika obediently.

Anna stepped into class and was trying to be quiet as possible so no one will notice her.

Audrey was glad she asked the professor. She did not want the professor to pass a judge about her at the begining of the lesson. She gave a breath of relieve and walked towards the first mat she saw.

Anna gave a start when the profesor's voice boomed loudly. Her heart skipped a beat when she realised the distast of the professor toward her and Anna. Annika quickly stood up when he directed all the students to stand by the mat. Her heart was thumping loudly. She had to make up for her lame attitude.

Anna couldn't help but embarassed in front of everyone. She felt bad for Annika who reluctantly followed her sitting on the mat. She didn;t know the professor would be so mad as to shout, though more like bark for Anna, in front of the whole class. She sighed and ignore the stare all her friends gave her and stood up. She didn't mind making a bad impression on her first lesson of the day. "Sorry, professor," was all she could say. I mean, what else is there to do, anyway?
