Estelle opened the heavy wooden door with a loud squeak. Holding her breath, she stopped in her movement, her ears straining to hear anything or anyone approaching. After 30 seconds -which seemed more like five whole minutes to Estelle- she continued pushing the door and carefully slipped inside.
As the door closed, darkness enveloped her. Realising that she had forgotten to breathe in her anxiety, she inhaled deeply. Estelle suddenly felt as if the contents of the tonight's dinner threatened to spill out of her and onto the floor. The place stinks!
Coughing and forcing the bile down her throat, she quickly took out a wand and muttered, "Lumos."
Immediately, dim light shone from the end of her wand, allowing her to see a little bit of the place she was in. The ceiling was covered with a grey-coloured mess that looked as if it had been there longer than it should. Perhaps that was what was giving off the nasty smell. Pinching her nose and breathing through her mouth, she realized why she never saw anyone around here.
She was about to turn around to head back to the Gryffindor common room when a hand clasped around her wrist out of the semi-darkness. Estelle screamed.

Audrey was startled when she heard the scream. She loosen her grip on the Gryffindor's wrist.
"Hey...hey...hey....don't need to scream that loud. Everyone can hear you!" said Audrey carefully. Seemed like her trip to explore the castle int the middle of the night did not turn out the way she had planned to.
Audrey was quite in a bad mood. She was careful all this time not to even trip on a loose floor and not to make a squeking sound with her Nike sport shoes. She gave an impatient sigh and folded her arms. She looked at the girl. Eyes to eyes.
"Why are you here in the middle of the night?"

Estelle turned around to see who the voice belonged to. Oh, it was just a student, a Hufflepuff. She sighed, relieved that the hand and voice did not belong to a lost demonic soul waiting to wreak havoc in the world. She had been watching too many horror movies back at home.
Why was she here in the middle of the night? Umm... "I was...just exploring, that's all," she said, deciding on the truth. After all, Aunt Anna always said that when you get caught, confess. Best way out of a muddle, anywhere. But now, looking at the Hufflepuff's folded arms and hearing the impatient sigh escaping the older girl's lips, she wasn't sure anymore.
"You know, I really wasn't aware that this place was off limits or anything like that, because I'm new here. It's just that I was bored and curious, that's all. Since there's nothing here, I guess I'll just leave you to your business," she said, starting to turn away from the Hufflepuff's stare, her hand reaching for the doorknob.
"Unless..." she then started to say, as a mischevious glint entered her eyes. "You up to a secret project?"

Audrey just realised maybe she scared the Gryffindor off. When the girl said that she was new here, Audrey relaxed herself. Thank goodness she's not those darn prefects roaming around on duty. She scolded herself for thinking otherwise.
When the girl started to turn away and was reaching to open the door, Audrey wanted to stop her. She wanted to apologise for her rude stare to the girl. But then, the girl started saying something about a secret project. The mischievious glint in her eyes was clearly visible. It took Audrey a few seconds to register what was said. A secret project? Ahh, yes.
Audrey gave the girl a sly smile, her arms still folded tightly. "Course I am. I wanted to sneak into the caretaker's office. You do know that its in one of these dungeons right? I guessed I went into the wrong one. This place seemed empty and bare," replied Audrey.
As Audrey said that, her legs shifted noiselessly on the cold wet floor.

Estelle smiled as she heard the Hufflepuff's reply. Good, an accomplice. Turning around to face the girl again, she layed out what she had in mind, aware that if it were someone else -someone who she did not find tonight was roaming around looking for mischief like herself- she would not have dared to tell her plan.
"You know about the Room of Requirement? How it's there just in case you need a private place?" she asked, not even bothering to look at the Hufflepuff's face in her excitement to explain her plan.
"Well, I was thinking, that room can only be used by one person, or a particular group at a certain point of time. If someone else tries to get in when there's already an occupant, they're denied entry. Now, what if we had a place of our own, where we can relax and do anything, at the same time escaping wary eyes always on the lookout for trouble? What if we had a place just for us or only our group of friends?..." she said, looking at the Hufflepuff in the eye, hoping for a confirmation that they're on the same ground here, that they agree on this secret room of their very own.

"What are you students doing here"? Tant had heard a scream and thought she should cheak it out as she entered the dusty dark room "Lumos" she said as she shined her wand at the two students.

"Room of Requirement? Ahh, yes. Its on the top floor isn't it? But I'm not sure if its the sixth or seventh," said Audrey. A second of silence. It all started to come in her head. "
Hey, isn't that the place where Harry Potter used to go. He held a club there, right?" asked Audrey for confirmation. She was excited to know that she could have a place for herself and her friends. But before Estelle could answer, a bright light suddenly shined on her face. Her right hand automatically raised to shield her eyes.
"Ahhh....who's there?" asked Audrey promptly. Her mind now was racing furiously. Is that a professor or a prefect? If its a prefect, maybe I could jinx him!

Estelle smiled when she saw the excitement on Audrey's face. She had just opened her mouth to reply when the door opened behind her. She spun around quickly, afraid the intruder would be a professor.
Oh no. It was their History professor.
Estelle stepped aside when she realized what Audrey had in mind.
As the professor walked in, she felt her blood freeze in their canals. Uh-oh. What now?

Who ever sent the jinx Tant was going to give them detention for a week.
"Never in my teaching corary has a student ever tried to jinx me."She scolded
but as she reached the middle of the room she saw no one.Tant knew someone had been here other Wise no one would have tried to curse her and she knew it was a student most likely in their fourth year.
But as she shined her wand she saw no one puzzled she turned around to leave but as she left she heard a small sneeze. "Achoo"Stopping in Tant traces She turn sharply on her heels."I know your in hear"Tant said loudly "May as well come out."

Audrey couldn;t understand it when the professor said that someone was trying to jinx her. Sure, Audrey had want to but she didn;t say anything to produce a spell at her. She looked at the professor and hopefully she would just leave.

Estelle looked at the professor oddly. What was she implying? That she couldn't see them? Audrey and her were staring visibly at the professor, for goodness sake!
Estelle thought for a while. Maybe she could use it against Professor Kemp. She waved her hand in front of the professor, testing if it really was true that they couldn't be seen.

Krutika heard the creak of door opening. She turned to see someone closing the dungeon door. "Who is there, at this time of night?" For a moment, she thought better not interrupt; it could be that caretaker, or some teachers on some mission, or may be some other curious students who were roaming aroung castle at midnight, like her. "What if its some Slytherin making some plans?" she thought bitterly, just then she heard a scream from inside the castle. Some one was in trouble. She ran fastly towards the dungeon and came to a halt as she saw Miss. Kemp coming there out of nowhere and going inside dungeon. "Thank God she didnot see me" said Krutika. But then she heard professor shouting. "Is some fellow student in trouble?" thought Krutika, "or may be - or may be Miss. Kemp is in trouble?" the thought striked her suddenly. She moved towards dungeon fastly, but she was just about to go in when two girls, who were coming out of the dungeons bumped into her.
